Admissions to Reception
Parents are very welcome to visit the school at any time to register their interest. There will also be an Open Day for prospective parents to view the school in November each year.
Applications for primary school are submitted to Wigan Council, and parents will be notified in April if they have received their first choice school, or have been offered a place at a different school.
As part of our induction programme, parents of children who are to begin school for the first time in September are invited to a meeting in school in June. We will also visit your child at their nursery, or other setting, to find out more about them, and your child will also be invited to a taster session before we break for the summer holidays. In addition, we hold individual meetings with parents to allow us to get to know as much about your child as possible, and for parents to share any concerns or ask any further questions.
