Dear parents and carers,

I am excited and delighted to welcome you and your child to an exciting new year of learning at Mab's Cross Primary School. My name is Miss Meadows, and I will be your child’s Year 5 teacher this year.  I want you to know that I am here to support you and your child every step of the way, and I'm looking forward to making this year a fun, engaging, and successful one for all of us.

This year, we will be exploring new ideas, discovering exciting concepts, and challenging ourselves to think in new ways. My goal is to help your children grow not only as learners but also as thinkers, problem-solvers, and confident individuals.

I have been teaching for over seven years and have experience working in education settings for almost twenty years. I believe that every child has unique strengths and talents, and I am committed to providing a learning environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and inspired to do their best.

I encourage open communication, so please feel free to reach out with any questions, ideas, or concerns. You can contact me through Edulink, and I am more than happy to have a chat when you are picking your child up at the end of the school day. Together, we will create a positive and nurturing classroom community. You can help by ensuring that your child reads three times a week every week, completes homework when set and engages with Times Tables Rock Stars in their own time.
