Each year the National Gallery in London invites primary schools from across the nation to take part in their Take One Picture Competition. The competition involves the gallery selecting one of the artworks from their collection and asking children to create their own artwork inspired by their own curiosity in the painting. Artwork produced is then submitted to the gallery for judging, whereby a selection is chosen to go on display in the gallery each Summer. Below, you will find each year's painting focus and the artwork created across the different classes.
