On May 8th 2026, the children took part in the nationwide celebrations of David Attenborough's 100th birthday. On that day, the children came dressed in animal costumes, colours and prints inspired by his lifelong commitment to teaching the world about the natural world. On the day, each class selected one animal to focus their day on, learning about its habitat, diet, survival techniques and conservation status. Each class produced artwork to celebrate their chosen animal and inspire the next generation of naturalists.
