Dear Parent/Guardian

It is my great pleasure to welcome you and your family to our school. This booklet will provide you with a broad outline of what Mab’s Cross Community Primary School has to offer. Our recent OFSTED Inspection Report received in September 2007 summarised Mab’s Cross as an effective and successful school.

We are committed to providing your child with the best possible all round education within a caring, creative and secure school environment. Our children should not only achieve their best intellectually but also develop a joy in life and learning, and respect for others. We aim to equip our children with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to carry them forward successfully and confidently into the future of this challenging new century.

We also aim to make learning fun in a creative and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to think for themselves and become independent. We provide many new and exciting learning experiences, particularly in relation to languages, arts and a wide range of sporting and creative activities both during and after school.

We regard parents as essential partners in the educational process and look forward to working closely with you for the benefit of your child.
